Expand your perspective with new cultures.

Born 4 Adventure began long before kids, social media, or travel blogs.
We met in high school and quickly discovered a shared love for exploring new places and pushing beyond our comfort zones. We knew early on that travel wasn’t just something we enjoyed — it was something that shaped who we were.
Our first major adventure came right after college. Instead of attending our graduation ceremony, we packed backpacks, bought Eurail passes, and spent 30 days traveling through Europe on a tight budget.
We stayed in hostels, bought food from grocery stores instead of eating out, and focused on seeing as much of the world as possible by leveraging every mile of our rail pass. That trip taught us a lifelong lesson: adventure doesn’t require luxury — it requires intention.
When we got married and later had kids, we made a commitment — travel would continue to be part of our lives, not something we “got back to someday.”
As our family grew, so did our adventures. We learned how to travel lighter, plan smarter, and adapt trips to include kids at every stage. Today, our three children are teenagers who have grown up navigating airports, learning cultures, budgeting, hiking, and problem-solving in real-world environments.
One of our favorite examples? A multi-country European trip where each of us carried only a small backpack — the girls even shared one.
1. Develop independent kids capable of exploring the world
Travel teaches adaptability, confidence, and responsibility in ways no classroom ever could.
2. Explore cultures & connect with people
We prioritize experiences that go beyond landmarks — learning local customs, history, and perspectives.
3. Enjoy the beauty God has created
From mountains and oceans to cities and villages, we travel with gratitude for the world around us.
Our family travels have included:
Adventure for us isn’t limited to passports and flights.
Endurance sports and outdoor challenges are part of our lifestyle — Ironman triathlons, long-distance cycling, ultramarathons, and multi-day races. These experiences influence how we travel: with grit, curiosity, and a willingness to be a bit uncomfortable.
